The company was established in 2006 by Matt Murphy to provide quality merchandising services for Broadway, Off-Broadway, and touring theatrical productions. Since the company’s inception, Marquee has grown to become one of the largest theatre merchandising companies in the U.S. by servicing such institutions as Lincoln Center Theater, Roundabout Theatre Company, Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre, and award-winning productions like Macbeth, Ann, Memphis, War Horse, Other Desert Cities, In the Heights, South Pacific, The 39 Steps, and STOMP. In addition to its merchandising services, Marquee also serves as the concessionaire for Broadway’s most intimate theatre, The Helen Hayes Theatre.
